Neuromuscular therapy is based on physiological principles of ischemia, trigger points, nerve entrapment and compression of soft tissue, and postural distortions. In-depth treatment of all muscles, tendons, and ligaments is addressed. It serves as the most in-depth treatment for auto and other accidents available. It is also extremely helpful for other nerve related diseases such as multiple sclerosis, palsy, Parkinson's, and similar diseases.
Oriental Craniosacral Therapy The craniosacral system includes the membranes and fluids that surround and protect the spinal cord and brain and is vital to their development and performance. Any imbalance or blockage can affect numerous sensory, motor and neurological functions. These may include chronic pain, learning disabilities, eye and sinus disorders and many other health conditions. Craniosacral Therapy detects and corrects blockages and imbalances by encouraging the body's natural healing responses with gentle manipulation. Only a very light touch is used and it is not necessary to remove clothing. Our Oriental approach has the advantage of being able to detect how acupuncture, organs and other systems are being affected in relation to the imbalances. Advanced Qigong and other techniques are then uniquely combined with craniosacral therapy to facilitate healing. This form of Oriental Craniosacral Therapy was developed by Mr. Fry through many years of research and is not available elsewhere.
Tai Chi Chuan is offered as a movement therapy for proper posture and biomechanics, stress relief, overall health, and self defense. It naturally retrains proper posture and body movement, and reintegrates the mind and body connection often lost with illness, accidents, and aging. There are also serious Tai Chi self defense applications for those who are interested. It is great stress relief for the mind and body.
Qigong is the branch of Chinese medicine that deals with balancing the body's energy (bioelectricity or chi). During Qigong therapy, the practitioner uses various Qigong techniques to move energy through the clients body to open blockages of energy that lead to illness. Focus on particular ailments such as, cancer, cysts, headaches, and more is also possible. In China, Qigong is the most important part of recovery from any illness. Qigong therapists are more highly regarded than most other therapists in China. There are many exercises that are taught to the client as "homework" to facilitate healing and prevent return of the illness. It can also be very calming to the mind and body. It is not necessary to remove clothing for Qigong therapy.
We pride ourselves on using a mixture of techniques that are appropriate for each person. We credit our many successes to viewing our therapy clients and T'ai Chi and Qigong students as unique individuals and treating them accordingly. This is how an ailment is addressed in China...with a variety of treatment; no one treatment is the cure for everybody.
All therapy is done is a strictly professional manner; there are no sexual connotations whatsoever. Full sheet draping is employed for massage and neuromuscular therapy. Private areas are kept covered at all times.

Please review our important notes on choosing a therapist. Remember, when you are choosing a therapist, some fees may seem higher than other places. Consider this. We have spent thousands of hours and dollars in study both here and in China to bring you the best possible. Why settle for less just to save a few dollars? Often the adage, "You get what you pay for.", is quite true.
